How much does it cost to call Lebara Mobile Customer Services?
Calls to 126 122 from your Lebara Mobile are free. Calls to 1300 126 122 from other networks are charged at your service provider’s standard national rate.
When making international calls, Lebara mobile works just as other mobiles or fixed line services.
Calling an international fixed line: Dial the ‘+’ symbol followed by the destination country code, then the area code excluding the ‘0’ at the beginning followed by the phone number.
Calling an international mobile: Dial the ‘+’ symbol followed by the destination country code, then the mobile number excluding the ‘0’ at the beginning.
The call credit for Lebara Mobile expires after 90 days from last recharge.
We don’t currently offer international / global roaming, however we are looking to introduce this in the near future. If you are travelling to Europe you can purchase a Lebara SIM from selected countries. Please visit www.lebara.com for a listing of these countries.
How do I send a text message from Australia to another country with Lebara Mobile?
Lebara Mobile works in the same way as other mobiles when it comes to sending international text messages. When sending an international SMS, after typing the message, dial the ‘+’ symbol followed by the destination country code, then the mobile number excluding the ‘0’ at the beginning.
What mobile handsets can I use with Lebara Mobile?
The handset needs to be compatible with the internationally recognised GSM standards, adopted by all the major handset manufacturers. There are no other restrictions on the type of handset you can use with Lebara Mobile. Please call our customer services team on 1300 126 122 if you are unsure about your handset.
My handset seems to be locked
I have not used my Lebara Mobile for a while and it has now stopped working. Why is this?
We automatically deactivate SIM cards if you do not recharge the Service for a continuous period of 120 days. Unfortunately these SIM cards cannot be reconnected and the mobile number also stops being available for you to use after this time.

Generally, the maximum number of mobile numbers registered under one name is 3. Each mobile service should be registered under a valid name and address. Restrictions could be placed on the mobile if this does not occur. If you need to register more than 3 mobile numbers in your name, please contact our customer care team on 1300 126 122.
